Light Up the Night, Saratoga National, 7:30 pm to midnight.

Albany Medical Center's 'Light up the Night' benefit raises funds for Albany Med's Department of Emergency Medicine. Proceeds from the event are used to fund educational opportunities, research initiatives and equipment purchases that will further strengthen the Department of Emergency Medicine. Food is provided by Prime at Saratoga National Golf Club and its award-winning Executive Chefs. This premier event will feature an extravagant array of fine cuisine and cocktails, a grand fireworks display, and live music by the New York Players. SPAC Ballet Gala, ‘Premieres on the Red Carpet’, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, 5:30 pm to midnight

Annual fundraiser to support classical programming at SPAC, the Ballet Gala is the Gala of the season. This year’s honorary chairs, Candace Bushnell (author of Sex and the City) and Charles Askegard (NYCB Principal Dancer), set the tone for an evening of glamour and celebration. Pre-party on the lawn, two Saratoga premiere performances by NYCB, fireworks, and post-performance lawn party with dancing to live music and DJ all included with lawn admission. Optional dinner in Hall of Springs includes pre-performance cocktail party, gourmet dinner, and post party, in addition to lawn festivities.
